Portable local environment for Windows

Your PHP stack. Without the stack weight.

Choose PHP, configure extensions and main options, point to your project, and decide whether MySQL should run. LitePHP prepares everything from its directory.

Simple by design

One launcher. Every project. The right version.

LitePHP keeps the convenience of a Batch file and adds version selection, visual php.ini management, port checks, and controlled shutdown.

01

Multiple PHP versions

Add or remove versions through their folders. The launcher finds every php.exe and keeps extensions and php.ini options independent.

02

Optional MySQL

Start the database only when needed. Every version keeps its configuration, data, and logs separate.

03

Truly portable

No absolute launcher paths. Move LitePHP to another drive or computer and keep the same clear structure.

04

Remembered setup

PHP, project, port, and MySQL are summarized at startup. Reuse them or start over in seconds.

05

Visible request log

PHP server requests stay in the main terminal, so the runtime never hides what it is doing.

06

Controlled shutdown

Press Q: LitePHP stops PHP, sends the shutdown command to MySQL, and releases ports in order.

Precise control

Every PHP version, its own configuration.

Open the visual manager from LitePHP, choose a runtime, and configure extensions and main php.ini options without manual edits.

Independent configurations

Extensions and options affect only the selected PHP version.

Validation before saving

LitePHP checks modules and effective values with the matching php.exe before replacing php.ini.

Restorable backup

The first save keeps the original php.ini ready to restore from the same window.

The workflow

From double-click to localhost in four steps.

01

Choose PHP

LitePHP scans PHP\* and lists every available version.

02

Point to the project

Paste the document root, including paths that contain spaces.

03

Set the port

Press Enter for port 80 or provide a different local port.

04

Decide on MySQL

Start an available version or continue with PHP only.

Readable structure

The folder is the configuration.

No installer and no registry edits. Each runtime lives in a recognizable directory and can be replaced without touching the launcher.

Close without surprises

One key stops everything safely.

The PHP server stays visible. MySQL runs in the background without an empty second window. When you are done, Q starts a clear, verifiable shutdown sequence.

  • PHP is terminated first.
  • MySQL receives a mysqladmin shutdown command.
  • Ports 80 and 3306 are released.

Ready in minutes

A local environment that stays understandable

Fewer panels. More control.
